midasCAD can import and export DWG files. What is surprising, however, is that you can manage project-specific drawings by providing and MDWG extension that integrates and manages multiple DWG files into one.
To open an existing drawing of DWG or DXF file, use the IMPORT commands.
[ File ] – [ Import ]
Choose a DWG file, and then drag & drop in viewport.
- [ File ] – [ Open ] : open a MDWG file
* SMART MODE

If you save(QSAVE, Ctrl+S), the project file will be saved as MDWG.
